What is PRF – Platelet-Rich-Fibrin?

Platelet rich fibrin acts as a stable blood clot for neovascularization and accelerated tissue regeneration which improves wound healing power after tooth extraction, periodontal surgery, and Dental Implant procedure or bone graft.

PRF is made of small sample from patient’s blood which is 100% natural and synthetic free. The blood sample is then spun in centrifuge for several minutes without anticoagulants, isolating the platelet-rich plasma from the platelet-poor plasma and the red blood cells. PRF is then placed directly in the extraction site.

This achieves:

  • Protecting the site from infection
  • Enriches the area with proteins
  • Accelerates the healing process
  • Reduce post-operative discomfort
  • Faster tissue and bone regeneration
